1997 (April) - the registration of industrial-commercial enterprise "Liteyshchik" (The foundryman).

1997 (July) - the first batch of aluminum foundry was produced in aluminium casting shop № 1.

1998 (June) - the foundry № 2 was set into operation.

2001 (July) - Tavrian Casting Company "TALKo" was created on the base of ICE "Liteyshchik".

2001 (August) - a new subdivision appeared in the Company structure - machine-assembly shop.

2001 - the Company becomes the member of Zaporozh'ye Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

2002 (August) - the steel precision casting shop was put into operation.

2002 - the Company becomes the member of Zaporizhzhya region union of Industrialists and business owners (Employers) "Potentsial".

2002 (December) - quality management system of the Company is certified according to international standard requirements EN ISO 9001:2000.

2004 - first lot of cast delivery to foreign countries.

2005 - Hydro vibratory finishing plant R620EC Rosler Company production (Germany) was put into operation.

2006 - getting General Motors' approval for aluminium cast delivery for Pierburg AG.

2006 - setting into operation the monorail underslung shot blast cleaning system RBHE 9 /13-L Roesler production (Germany) as a unit with wet filtration system and dust removing; coordinate measurement machine "TESA" production (Switzerland) was put into operation.

On the tenth of April of the current year will be 10 years from the moment of the new enterprise appearance on industrial map of Ukraine - Tavrian Casting Company "TALKO". It's remarkable that Company is not situated in the large industrial centre, but in the traditionally agricultural region - village Novovasilivka, Priazovskiy district in Zaporizhzhya region. Alexander Viktorovich Pshenychny - an experienced foundryman and talented organizer is at the head of this young enterprise.

In order to imagine the history of Company creation and its first steps, one should probably say that formerly Alexander Pshenychny and his colleagues worked at the big state-run enterprise. During severe economy crisis in which all the country was immersed in the second half of nineties, it was necessary to look for new methods of economic activity management. Unfortunately, many directors of state-run enterprises couldn't understand that their labor collectives' further destiny depends on taking the right decision on-the-site, they habitually expected Government help. Quite the contrary, the Country itself needed the new ideas and actions, leading to Country economy sanitation. A. V. Pshenychny did not succeed in persuading the board of directors of that plant in obligatory search of new business management approaches. Then the decision was taken to create the new enterprise, to prove by action the correctness of his viewpoint.

One has to start on a practically bare place - the manufacturing capabilities of ICE "Liteyshchik" were forming with own funds. The staff was not big but solidary and industrious. One has to work round the clock. But the persistence, the commitment, high qualification and, of course, the enthusiasm led to success. In three months the first lot of castings was produced in foundry №1. The foundry №2 was put into operation a year later. It gave the possibility to increase the volume and to enlarge its assortment. Four years of fruitful work devoted to intensive development and market position strengthening. During that time many things have changed. New goals and tasks were defined and assigned, new personnel came, the investments obtained. All of that allowed to create Tavrian Casting Company "TALKo" on a base of industrial-commercial enterprise "Liteyshchik".

Nowadays, the Company has production facilities for annual manufacturing near 3,5 thousand tons of aluminium foundry and more than 320 ton of steel investment casting. Its products are used in different branches of economy: automotive industry, agricultural machine building, and electric equipment, building engineering, gas stations, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment. To its 10 years anniversary the Company has mastered 319 types of castings.

Aluminium castings are produced by means of high pressure casting on machines with closing force from 160 till 450 tons (1600-4500 kH) and by gravity casting on special and universal mechanized chill casting machines. The weight of aluminium casting is from 40 grams till 16 kg. For engineered surface shot blast and vibrohydraulic tumbling are used on ROESLER equipment - one of the world leading producers. Press molds thermostating devices Temperiergerat TT-380 are used. Thermal subdivision of aluminium casting shop makes it possible to organize all types of thermal treatment.

Steel precision casting shop was put into operation in August 20002. Steel castings are produced from construction carbon steel, low-alloy steel, heat-resistant steel. Casting weight range 0,02 - 2,8 kg.

One more manufacturing subdivision of the company is machine assembling which is oriented to parts and ready-made assemblies' production. Machine-assembly shop is equipped with versatile machine tools: general purpose lathes, horizontal and vertical milling machines, circular and plain grinding machines, drilling, lathes with CNC, machining centers, electric erosion machine. Company possibilities permit to project and produce foundry rigging and castings' mechanic treatment jigging.

One of the components of the mission of the Tavrian casting company "TALKO" is to meet consumers' requirements and surpass their expectations concerning quality of the products. Output goods are under careful control according to: chemical composition, mechanical properties, microstructure, leak tightness, dimension accuracy. In 2006 the Coordinate Measure Machine "TESA" of Swiss production was set into operation. This permitted to provide castings geometry control with a new quality level.

Since 2002 the quality management system was certified by certification body TUV THURINGEN (Germany) according to international standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2000. In 2006 the company successively passed recertification. Though, the improvements are implemented into managerial decision-making system, and Company is preparing for certification according to ISO/TS 16949:2002. This is international branch standard, developed for automotive industry, which makes more strict demands to manufacturers.

Many different, interesting orders are being received by TALKO. Every customer is individual and unique in his requirements and wishes to output. Today such manufacture tasks are being fulfilled, which seemed to be awkward yesterday, and the fulfillment of such tasks were practically impossible the day before yesterday. Employees' ability to learn and their aspiration for development are those components, which indicate the company universality and versatility.

An effective human resources selection, an implementation of professional development programs, participations in seminars and other arrangements, training of young foundry men in best educational establishments of the country works for products quality upgrade.

Many Ukrainian manufacturers cooperate with TALKO. Among its permanent partners "Fiolent Factory" Simferopol, "Industry" Kharkov, "Hydrosila" and "Chervona Zirka" both Kirovograd, "ADVIS" Khmelnitskiy, "ROST" Zaporizhzhya, Melitopolian "Hydroagregat" and "AvtoZAZ Motor". TALKO products are known in Byelorussia and Russia. Among European companies one can mark out German "Festo", "Pierburg", "Jungheinrich", Italian "Camozzi".

The Company takes an active part in social life of its region, supporting the football section of Novovasilevka school, in which two age groups (10-16 years old) of children are training under the direction of an experienced coach. Three years ago the Company has built the stadium with good football field, roofed tribunes, locker rooms and showers for football players. Regional and district championships are held on the stadium.

Nowadays "TALKO" - it is an active enterprise with modern business approaches to the field of casting production, the main guarantee of company successful development is the united team of persons with identity of views, people are working by heart for the total result. And, of course, persistence, commitment, diligence.
